Hi everyone! We've just released the Beginner App Inventor Sushi Cards. These are aimed to tie in with this month's CoderDojo Girls focus as they're aimed at both a platform (mobile apps) and a style of coding (narrative-driven) that have historically been popular with girls in the movement. Check them out and let us know what you think!
This week we are highlighting our new guide for parents and guardians, showing them some ways they can encourage their daughter to develop coding skills.
Let us know what you think & share your ideas for engaging girls at home or in your Dojo by replying below
Has anyone tried out the Pixar in a box content on Khan Academy?
They have different courses such as "The Art of Storytelling" or "Animation", which volunteers might find are engaging for girls interested in Pixar/ or animation more generally.
The animation course goes through some of the mathematics behind movement. Some of the content is only suitable for children aged 13+ while other lessons, such as about storytelling is suitable for all ages.
@Nuala-Nic-Éil I love this! @Sandra-Maguire @Harold-Perez might be cool to show/share with parents at the next Dojo!
Looks like your connection to CoderDojo Forum was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
