First of all, thank you for keeping up with all our posts:-)
We had a couple of new mentors register themselves on Zen and join our Dojo as mentors. They received the message saying that the request had been sent to the Dojo for approval but I did not receive any request for approval at our Dojo email address. I used to receive them before. Could you please look into this? We put in a work around for the new mentors to join our Dojo as a Parent and then I went in and changed the user type to Mentor.

Thanks so much for all your feedback. It's been very helpful in tracking down issues that we haven't seen ourselves.
We've resolved this issue, and the fix is now live. Sorry for the inconvenience. Anyone requesting to join as a volunteer or champion now will properly trigger the email to be sent. Anyone who previously attempted (and you haven't manually sorted out) will be able to use this functionality to request again correctly.

@Daniel-Brierton I just received two mentor approval requests. I clicked on both links and both times there was an error with validating the request. Could you please check?
Really sorry about all this, but also thank you for sticking with us and helping us work through the issues. We're looking into this issue now. We're adding extra logging that should help us determine the cause of issues likes these (and even catch them before they're reported!).
In the meantime, if you could open the console after clicking the link (Ctrl+Shift+J will open it for you) and screenshot what you see in it, that'd be very helpful.
We've deployed our more detailed logging. When you try again, we should have more information on our end to try debug the issue. Please note the time of when you try so we can locate the relevant logs quicker.

@Nuala-Nic-Éil Just wanted to add, as you know, there was a wee issue for me with this too, but it got resolved.
Correct me if I am wrong, but at least in Ireland, people do not like to complain but this platform is actually improving hugely because we do complain!!! Well it is constructive and meant for improvement. Maybe we should all encourage all dojo participants to let you know of any issues or problems (imho issues might be a big word if you are foreign, problem is less vague for non native speakers).

@zita Yes, you are definitely right. Community members who were at DojoCon you might have attended the talk our dev team gave which highlighted the importance of community feedback to ensure the platform is one they find really useful and enjoy using. It has been because of the community that all the improvements, such as the new UI, have been implemented and issues have been resolved.
